Location.The Villa Eva Hotel is part of the Plat Hotel Complex, in the village of Mlini, Croatia, eight kilometres from the historic city of Dubrovnik. The hotel is 25 metres from the beach, and approximately 40 metres from shops and other facilities. Dubrovnik Airport is 10 kilometres away.
Hotel Features.The Villa Eva is a two storey hotel surrounded by gardens and pine trees. Onsite facilities include a hair salon, an outdoor swimming pool with poolside bar, a children's pool, tennis courts and fitness equipment. There is also a playground for children and areas for volleyball and basketball. Bicycles and scooters can be hired nearby, and sailing and scuba diving trips can be arranged. The front desk is open 24 hours.
A complimentary English breakfast is available, and the hotel's Taverna Plat restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. It offers Croatian, international and vegetarian dishes, with a terrace overlooking the Adriatic.
Guestrooms.The 23 air conditioned rooms at Villa Eva have balconies and face the sea. All offer ceramic tiled bathrooms, satellite television and direct dial telephones. Rooms can be fitted with an additional bed, and hair dryers are available on request.
Expert Tip. The walls of old Dubrovnik stretch for two kilometres and the city is on UNESCO's World Heritage register. The village of Cilipi has a Sunday market with music and folk dancing in the church square.

From Dubrovnik Airport (DBV): Distance to the Villa Eva Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there.Transportation to and from the airport is available from the hotel (surcharge). Buses run regularly between the airport and Pile Gate, in Dubrovnik's old city. Single tickets cost 4 EUR. A Croatia Airlines shuttle runs to the city's main bus station, where buses travel to surrounding villages. Taxis are available at the airport and cost about 45 EUR to Dubrovnik centre. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around.A frequent boat and bus service provides transportation from Mlini to Dubrovnik and neighbouring villages. Dubrovnik's beaches and old town are easy to explore on foot, and many streets are pedestrianised. Buses are available throughout the city centre. Ferries and water taxis run from the port to the Elaphite Islands.
Driving directions.From the airport travel in the direction of Dubrovnik city. At the village of Plat turn left at the sign for Plat Hotels.
