The Ramada Trier is a five storey hotel connected to the convention centre Europahalle and situated in a green area in the centre of Trier, 500 metres from the Cathedral. The 127 guestrooms have contemporary decor and all include satellite television, modem points, telephones, complimentary newspapers, minibars, work desks and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can relax with a complimentary coffee and browse the daily papers in the lobby lounge, or choose magazines and souvenirs at the gift shop. Later, the cocktail lounge is open for drinks and aperitifs. At Kegelstuebchen guests can enjoy light meals, snacks and drinks from an international menu in an informal setting. In the Park Restaurant international cuisine is served at breakfast, lunch and dinner in a dining room with contemporary decor and a relaxed ambience. Business facilities include conference and meeting rooms as well as fax, printing and secretarial services and guests can leave their valuables in the safe at the front desk. Those arriving by car can make use of on site parking for 8 EUR per day. Ideal for conference goers, the hotel is also well located for exploring the historic sights of Trier; the Roman amphitheatre and thermal baths, Karl Marx's house and the cathedral are all within 500 metres. The nearest airport is Luxembourg, which is 35 kilometres and about a 20 minute drive away.
