Location. Il Gattopardo Hotel Terme and Beauty Farm is a modern whitewashed hotel, situated beside a vineyard in the area of Forio on the Island of Ischia, Italy. The beach is 200 metres from the hotel and Forio town centre is one kilometre away.
Hotel Features. Il Gattopardo Hotel has a bright, modern restaurant which serves Neapolitan and international dishes, with vegetarian options and a children's menu. Strumming guitars and mandolins accompany tours through the 1823 wine cellar. Complimentary buffet style breakfasts are served each morning. The hotel's health spa offers treatments including massages and mud therapies, and is equipped with three thermal pools, spa tubs, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. The hotel is set in Mediterranean gardens and features a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, and sun terraces furnished with chaise lounges. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. The hotel has two outdoor clay tennis courts, which can also be used for basketball, volleyball or football.
Guestrooms. There are 73 air conditioned guestrooms set over three floors with contemporary furnishings. Amenities include satellite television and direct dial phones. Minibars are available. Balconies or terraces open out onto views of the garden, vineyard, tennis courts or pools.
Expert Tip. Castello Aragonese is an impressive castle, built in 474 BC on a volcanic rock, connected to the island of Ischia by a bridge built in 1438.
