The Grand Hotel Duomo, Pisa is a modern four floor hotel located in the city centre, 200 metres from the famous leaning tower and 300 metres from the cathedral which gives the hotel its name. Guestrooms total 94 and benefit from air and are equipped with cable television, minibars and complimentary dial up Internet connections.
The hotel restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving Italian cuisine and traditional Tuscan specialties; a vegetarian menu is available and live piano music can be provided on request. The American bar opens onto a roof garden with views over the city to the leaning tower and the cathedral. Grand Duomo guests can also make use of limited hours room service.
Grand Hotel Duomo has five conference rooms, able to accommodate between 10 and 300 people, and the Internet can be accessed through a wireless connection. Business guests will appreciate the hotel's proximity to the main congress building two kilometres away, while sightseers will get their fill of monuments at the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Piazza dei Cavalieri, both 300 metres from the hotel. The hotel is approximately 5 kilometres or a 10 minute drive from Pisa Airport. The airport has its own train station with direct trains to Pisa central station, Florence, Lucca and beyond. The CPT number 3 bus connects the airport with the city centre.
